I had only planned on taking a short break from the fun that is Christmas lights, but that turned into 6 months! Where has the time gone? Now that I am behind the curve, I guess I better get it in gear and do something.

New lights for 2011

I have spent most of the last week inventorying the lights that I acquired from last season’s after Christmas sales.  You can’t beat getting lights at 1/3 to half the cost of retail!

New for the 2011 display

I am planning on having at least one Mega Tree in this year’s design. Also, I am working on having the whole display be capable of dimming, not just on and off.

  • Drag stuff out and test
• November
  • Tune FM transmitter
  • Setup PC for broadcast and control of lights
  •  Nov 19^th – Begin setup
  •  Nov. 24^th – Final dry run for family and fiends
  • Nov. 25^th – First night of full program!
